The Volume Planning Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating all planning activities across the volume and demand planning process, from sales forecasting to factory ordering. By working closely with Product, Supply Chain, and Sales teams, the role ensures consistency and accuracy of volume plans, secures stock availability to meet commercial targets, and minimises ageing risk, while optimising stock allocation within compound capacity limits. This role plays a strategic function in aligning planning operations with Kiaβs business goals and market dynamics, thanks to a close collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Your Mission:
Coordinate planning activities, ensuring consistency across sales forecasts and plans, production planning, and order strategies.
Support the development and accuracy of volume plans, ensuring alignment with market demand, sales objectives, and stock levels.
Collaborate closely with Product and Supply Chain teams to define and implement the optimal ordering strategy based on retail forecasts and network needs.
Monitor and analyse dealer network stock status, supporting stock allocation activities and identifying potential imbalances or shortages.
Track and review order intake trends, ensuring consistency with planning targets and reacting promptly to deviations or opportunities.
Act as a point of contact with European Headquarters for production volume discussions and order feasibility.
Provide regular reporting and scenario analysis to support decision-making on volumes, order strategies, and stock allocation.
Work cross-functionally with key departments and teams (Sales, Product, Logistics, Finance) to ensure cohesive and efficient planning processes.
Identify planning gaps, risks, or inefficiencies and proactively propose corrective actions or optimisations.
Your Talents:
University degree
Proven experience in volume or demand planning, preferably within the automotive industry (2-3 years)
Proficiency in inventory management systems
Italian: fluent, spoken and written
English: fluent, spoken and written
MS Office proficient
Working knowledge of Tableau and/or Anaplan will be considered a strong plus
The ideal candidate has a consistent analytic background, precise, proactive and with an enquiring attitude.
S/he has excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers.
S/he can adapt to a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively.
Contractual grade: First Level CCNL or above.
