Legal & Compliance Intern (All Genders Welcome)

The Legal & Compliance Intern will report directly to the Legal & Compliance Senior Manager and will support the function in managing day-to-day legal and compliance activities, gaining hands-on experience in corporate legal processes within an international and structured organization.
The role is designed to provide a strong learning opportunity, allowing the intern to develop practical skills in legal analysis, compliance monitoring, documentation management and cross-functional collaboration.

In addition, the Legal & Compliance Intern will support the Legal & Compliance Senior Manager in matters related to litigation, both under an out-of-court (extrajudicial) perspective and by coordinating with external legal counsels in relation to judicial litigation activities.


Your Mission:

  • Support the Legal & Compliance Senior Manager in the review, drafting and archiving of legal documentation (e.g. contracts, agreements, internal policies and procedures).

  • Assist in monitoring compliance activities in line with internal policies, corporate guidelines and applicable regulations.

  • Contribute to the update and maintenance of legal and compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency and proper version control.

  • Support legal research activities on regulatory and compliance topics relevant to the company’s business.

  • Assist in managing interactions with internal stakeholders (e.g. People & Organization, Finance, Business functions) and external stakeholders (e.g. Kia Europe) on legal and compliance-related matters.

  • Provide support in preparing reports, presentations and internal communications related to legal and compliance topics.

  • Support the team in audit, risk assessment and compliance initiatives, when required.

  • Perform general administrative support activities related to the Legal & Compliance function.

  • Support the Legal & Compliance Senior Manager in litigation-related activities, including assistance in out-of-court (extrajudicial) matters and coordination with external legal counsels for judicial litigation, ensuring proper information flow, documentation support and alignment with internal stakeholders.

Your Talents:

  • Master’s degree in law (completed or in progress)

    Background in Business Law, Corporate Law, Compliance, Regulatory Law or similar fields is considered a plus.

  • Italian and English fluent

  • Basic knowledge of corporate legal and compliance principles.

  • Ability to read, understand and summarize legal and regulatory documents.

  • Good command of Microsoft Office(Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with different functions.
